how is it taken?
Marijuana is used in many ways. The most common method is smoking loose marijuana rolled into a cigarette. Sometimes marijuana is smoked through a water pipe Others smoke cigars hollowed out and filled with the drug. And some users brew it as tea or mix it with food.

STATS
According to a 2009 survey, about 7 percent of 8th-graders, 16 percent of 10th-graders, and 21 percent of 12th-graders had used marijuana in the month before the survey, marijuana use declined from the late 1990s through 2007, with a decrease in past-year use of more than 20 percent in all three grades combined from 2000 to 2007. Unfortunately, this trend appears to be slowing, and marijuana use remains at unacceptably high levels, as the most commonly used illegal drug.

The Most Dangerous Drug

I think that alcohol and tobacco are the most dangerous drugs because they are the most readily available and because taking them is considered acceptable in society. They are used by the largest number of people and are therefore the most dangerous to society over all.

Thoughts on Stress

Stress can be directly related to self esteem issues because people can get stressed more if they are worrying about things, people lower down in the running of things are more likely to get stressed because they have lower self esteem. a side effect can be depression. Real depression is a mental state of mind which can take a physical tole on you as well. it can be treated with medication, and it can eventually lead to people feeling that they want to die if it's not treated.

Teen Commits Suicide Due to Bullying: Parents Sue School for Sons Death.

By Susan Donaldson James.

April 2nd 2009

SUMMERY

Eric Mohat who was 17 years old committed suicide after being constantly bullied at school and one bully said in the middle of class 'why don't you go home and shoot yourself, no one will miss you'. His parent want to make sure people recognize that their sons death was due tho lack of attention from staff at the school, who ignored all bullying that was being done right in front of them and even in their classes.

BIG MEANING

I think that the big meaning to this article is how the teachers clearly saw what was happening but chose to do nothing about it because it made their lives easier to just ignore it. People tend to take bullying lightly and sometimes dismiss it as normal, when it prehaps shouldnt be viewed that way.

PERSONAL MEANING

I know how it is to feel like nobody can see whats happening, and i think that it is in the end inevitable that you will come to a point when you've had enough. personally i wouldn't consider suicide, but i can see how something like that can easily happen. Bullying can be quite easily dealt with and doesn't have to be a big deal, but sometimes it is just left because it's easier to ignore it. The reason i can relate to this article is that i have considerable experience in how horrible people can be, and i know how much worse it is if you feel like you are on your own.

Stress Video.

The video was good because it showed the similarities between society for baboons and for humans, then shows how your place in society makes you stress. It surprised me how directly stress effects your health. The part in the video where all the alpha monkeys died because they were greedy and bossy and ate all the food that had TB on it was interesting because it changed the way their society worked and the whole group of them became more healthy as a result. Before watching the video i had assumed that stress was all in your head but apparently its not.

What is his/her relationship to you?
He is my friend's teacher: Mr. Samson

1. Have you always been as healthy as you are now? Please explain.
I was healthier when I was younger because when people are young most people are lucky enough to be healthy. But when you're old intrinsically unhealthy so I have to work harder to be healthy

2. What particular health habits in the following areas do you practice, that contribute to your level of health?

Nutritional Habits- I try to eat "real food" like fresh food and lots of it

Fitness Habits- I stay active, I go to the gym every other day in a week

Coping with Stress- there is low stress. Wonderful job, family and no kids

Dealing with Conflicts- I just confront them immediately

Keeping a Positive Attitude- "I was born that way"

Any Additional Healthy Habits- red wine

3. How did you develop these habits? Please explain.
I developed these habits because they're fun for example exercising.

4. What motivates you to practice a healthy lifestyle?
It's fun and entertaining. You feel good and you can do more things which I wouldn't be able to do if I didn't have these habits

5. How have good healthy habits helped your life better?
Keeps you young in heart and body.  Lowers your medical bills. And it helps you meet people in gym etc...
